Project Overview:
The Spa project is a high-end wellness retreat that combines innovative architecture with a serene and luxurious landscape design. The project emphasizes tranquility and functionality, creating an inviting environment for relaxation and rejuvenation.

As Senior Landscape Architect, I was responsible for leading the landscaping efforts and ensuring that the design by Maria João D’orey was effectively implemented. I oversaw all aspects of the landscaping process, from initial design through to final execution, ensuring the project was delivered to the highest standards.

Core Responsibilities:

• Collaborative Design: Collaborated closely with Principal Landscape Designer Maria João D’orey to ensure that the landscape design vision was maintained throughout all phases of the project.

• Procurement and Contracting: Managed the procurement process, including negotiating contracts, securing necessary resources, and ensuring all landscaping services were in place for successful project completion.

• Contract Management: Oversaw compliance with contract terms, monitored performance of contractors, and addressed any issues that arose during execution.

• Technical Oversight: Provided technical direction and guidance to the landscaping team, ensuring that all work was completed to the highest standards and in line with the design specifications.

• Schedule and Budget Management: Managed the project's progress, ensuring that both physical and financial milestones were achieved on time and within budget.

 

Outcome:
My involvement as Senior Landscape Architect was instrumental in the successful delivery of the Spa project. I ensured the landscaping was implemented on time, within budget, and to the highest quality, contributing to the creation of a serene, functional, and luxurious wellness environment that exceeded client expectations.
